Exhibition: Love in a Dangerous Time: Canada’s LGBT Purge
West Vancouver Memorial Library (WVML) is proud to be the first in the Lower Mainland to host Love in a Dangerous Time: Canada’s LGBT Purge, a travelling exhibition from the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Running from July 31 to September 15, the exhibition explores the government-sanctioned purge of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals from the federal public service, military, and RCMP, alongside a companion gallery exhibition by Jeannette Sirois (At the Table: The Architecture of Control).
Alongside the exhibit, WVML is hosting a robust series of public talks covering queer history, human rights, sport, and inclusive AI technology.
