Join SSC’s Pride Network virtual event featuring special guest Miss Peppermint
SSC’s Pride Network is excited to host a virtual event featuring Miss Peppermint, a well-known performer and strong voice for 2SLGBTQI+ rights.
Miss Peppermint is an American actress, singer, and television personality. Many people know her from RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she was the runner-up on Season 9. Since then, she has become a powerful advocate for the 2SLGBTQI+ community, especially for trans women of colour.
She made history as the first out trans woman to play a lead role in a Broadway musical, Head Over Heels, and continues to speak out about fairness, inclusion, and equal rights.
Miss Peppermint will join us for a thoughtful and important conversation about trans rights in both the United States and Canada. She will speak about the challenges facing trans communities today and how we can all support greater inclusion and visibility.
